Robért Hinojosa is the principal engineer and Owner of the firm RJH & Associates, Inc. since 2013. RJH & Associates, Inc. is proud to be a Hispanic Owned business and Veteran owned business. RJH is an Engineering/Consulting firm that specializes in Building Envelope and Structural engineering and consulting for building Owners, Contractors, Building Managers, Developers, Architects, as well as government agencies.
Robért Hinojosa has credentials as a professional engineer (P.E.), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), Registered Building Envelope Consultant (RBEC), and Construction Document Technologist (CDT). Robért is a licensed professional engineer in 19 states. His areas of expertise include an extensive range of different types of roofing systems, below-grade and plaza style waterproofing, building envelope sealant systems, wall cladding systems, brick, masonry, plaster, stucco, EIFS, curtain walls, as well as structural reinforced concrete investigation, testing and restoration. Mr. Hinojosa oversees all Engineering operations for the company including overseeing field investigative work, products and construction document preparation, construction testing, forensic investigations and report writing. Mr. Hinojosa possess more than 14 years of management and technical experience.
Robért Hinojosa is currently the President of RCI, Inc. RCI, Inc. is an International Professional Organization of Roofing, Waterproofing and Exterior Wall Professionals.
He has been a member since 2002. He helped form the Panhandle Branch of the RCI Florida Chapter in 2008 and went from being the Panhandle Branch Vice President in 2008, President of the local Branch in 2009. He then moved to the Board of Directors at the National level and served as Region II Director from 2010-2012. After his time as Region Director, he continued his service to the Building Envelope Profession and joined the Executive Committee of RCI, Inc. in 2013-14, continued to Second Vice President of the for 2014-15 and will continue up the ranks to become President of RCI, Inc. in 2016.
In addition to service to the community through his volunteer time with professional organizations, Robért has taught many continuing education classes, developed exams and credentials, and published technical articles:
• Frequent contributor to RCI’s Journal, Interface, publishing articles in December 2009, April 2010, October 2010, February 2011, December 2011, and October 2012 issues.
• Speaker at the 11th and 12th Annual Hawaii Winter Workshop, January 2011 and 2012.
• Subject matter expert, Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC) exam development, 2010.
• Developer and teacher of RCI’s newest educational course, “Stucco and Exterior Finish Cladding Systems”.
• Taught numerous RCI continuing educational courses and presentations.
Mr. Hinojosa received a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering (BSCE) from Texas A&M University in 2000. He then went on to receive his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston in 2004.
